What is trauma? How are children affected by trauma? Can books support children of trauma? This session will explore the intricacies of trauma and how children are affected behaviorally and cognitively. Using children's literature and innovative reading and writing strategies, this interactive and engaging presentation will provide a plethora of strategies to implement when working with our most vulnerable children.
