Connected learning happens at the intersection of personal interest, supportive relationships, and opportunities. Connected learning provides a framework to support academic success through informal programs while supporting emotional, academic, and social facets of learning. Although often associated with teen programming, connected learning also informs family and youth programming. This workshop will offer applications of connected learning with respect to family-oriented programs, including early literacy/computational thinking without using technology and theater and movement to increase accessibility for children of all abilities.Boxed Lunch will be served from 12:00 to 1:00.
Sponsor: MSL
